2006-2009

Khan began her career in games as a QA Tester at Turbine Inc., a Boston-area studio, working on The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. Within nine months, she was promoted to Associate Content Designer and worked on the Lothlorien, Forochel, and Mines of Moria content updates.

2007-2009 – Content Designer

The Lord of the Rings Online: The Mines of Moria (PC). Created quest chains in the Forochel, Lothlorien, and Moria areas. Wrote all player-facing text involved.

Implemented quests (including path-mapping, basic scripting, and instance layout design) in proprietary world editor tool. Provided voice acting.

2006-2007 – Quality Assurance Tester

The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar (PC). Troubleshot the FTUE, created and updated bugs, proofread the Prima guide, and acted as lore maven for QA and members of the wider team.
